Everybody else caught wind of this yesterday, but I was out doing stuff. Plus, I’m not on really operating on true blogger status like many of my Hip-Hop news brethren. None the less, I managed to squeeze out a little bit of time while I was waiting for a call to post this image of Kanye fixin’ to get his head cut off in a very symmetrical way.

I don’t know who directed the video, but I’m both in awe at the surreal imagery and disappointed at its substandard (for anybody but Kanye) length. You no doubt saw the Flashing Lights video. That was also cut short; these videos are probably meant to be ‘video as art’-types of experiences. So be it, but I’m sure it would’ve been cool to have Ye walking around for the rest of the video with his head cut off. His critics might’ve applauded that portion, too.

That’s right, while she may have some humble beginnings upon her, this girl is definitely on her way to stardom. Every time I talk to her she’s making more moves, rubbing more elbows, and getting more people to hop on the bandwagon! It’s only right that I show my girl some love, from artist to artist.

I won’t gush too much, but I’m most certainly proud of her. Keep doing ya thing, home slice!
