There was no damage to the shuttle itself, but if I were an astronaut, you wouldn’t catch me in the air tonight.
So I’ve been wanting to type this right here out for some time now. It’s nothing way out there, but I’ve been nerding it up on google maps/wikipedia/nasa lately.
Does solar power work using ultraviolet radiation? Nobody seems to make that clear distinction. If not, then we need to harness ultraviolet radiation (UV-B). Turn lemons to lemonade.
Also, why do we consider North to be true North? How do we know that the way people think of the Solar System’s (and for that matter, the galaxy’s) orientation isn’t upside-down or on its ear? What if we’re going under and over the sun every year instead of around horizontally? I mean, our perception of east and west is solely based with respect to earth, so…

Finally, what is up with all these Craigslist ads for apartments “For Females Only”? That’s bullcrap because most of those apartments are great finds! And cheap(er)!
