RAGE Looks Interesting

I’m a little slow on this, considering I haven’t really been focusing on any other upcoming games than NBA 2K11 and SWTOR. But it looks like…somebody in a forum said “Fallout 3 and MotorStorm,” so I’d buy that. I just hope there’s a STORY. I like my games 40+ hours.

Video Game Music By Yours Truly

Whatup, y’all? I hope everything’s going well for this week. I see we have a Wednesday upon us. Last week the W-day turned into an L-day for me, but this time I’m gonna purposely let Wanna Know Wednesday slide into next week. Reason being? I only got TWO responses so far. C’mon, people. Let’s vote! You can’t choose wrong. (more…)

Droppin’ Mad Beats With Hacked Nintendo Hardware

This is pretty crazy, mang.

Wiimotes have been hacked to perform tons of actions never originally intended for the device. Anything from remotely accessing your PC to controlling RC cars can be done with this amazingly functional device. Patrick Flanagan’s Jazari project goes above and beyond most of the others. Using a pair of Wiimotes, some robotic parts, and intelligent software, this guy is a better percussionist than most of us non-musicians will ever be [via Engadget]:

Controlling most Wii games involves jumping and waving your arms like crazy, anyway — you might as well make some sweet music while simulating someone directing air traffic. Flanagan explains how it’s done in a video after the break.

Might Start Playing Torchlight

Says 1up.com:

Runic Game’s Torchlight is one of the best PC action RPGs in years, and now there’s very little excuse not to find that out for yourself if you’re interested. Valve’s latest Steam weekend sale has the game for 50 percent off, offering it at a scant $9.99.

Now, it’s been years since I played a PC game on purpose, but after reading up on the game a little bit…this might be the best thing since…the last game I played on PC. I guess that counts for something, cause the last game I remember playing on my PC was WoW. And that was during the open beta for the original build of the game. I mean, there was also Civ IV, but then a version of that came out on consoles…which I bought.

Iono, man. The last thing I need to be doing is looking for more distractions and money wasters, but as you see in the aforementioned article, it’s HALF OFF! Them’s good pickin’s.

Besides, it’ll be a while until SWTOR comes out anyway, and I’m DEFINITELY dumping my money and time into that. Guess I oughta get back into PC gaming shape.

Wrists, don’t fail me now!
